Jägersruh is a district of the Upper Swabian town of Mindelheim and part of the formerly independent municipality of Mindelau in the district of Unterallgäu. The town is located about five kilometers southwest of Mindelheim and five kilometers northeast of Bad Wörishofen . Jägersruh is connected to Mindelheim and Bad Wörishofen by the MN 25 county road . The wasteland is surrounded by forests on all sides. Jägersruh was founded in the 19th century as a hunting farm. Later, a clay pit with a brickworks was added to the farm.
