Mcleod Ganj is a village named after Lord David McLeod with a population of around 10,000 people, largely consisting of the Tibetan community. It is 3kms north of Dharamshala in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. It is also known as 'Little Lhasa' or 'Dhasa.' McLeod Ganj is one of the most famous places in Dharamshala and attracts thousands of tourists from all over India as well as the world. This place gives an option to the visitors to volunteer with the Tibetan community, provides courses in Buddhism, meditation, or yoga classes, and is famous for shopping for Tibetan crafts and trekking.
